Our Philosophy of Therapy

At Bristlecone Therapy we believe that healing is a journey that cannot be taken alone.

As such, we strive to create a therapeutic environment that is safe enough for you to know in your mind and heart and body that
you are not alone in your pain.

When such a sense of safety is established, you can then risk encountering your self and your loved ones in new and different ways. More specifically you can
feel the freedom to expand your boundaries, allowing you to:

‍ ‍‣ Acknowledge your wounds
‍ ‍‣ Identify your core messages
‍ ‍‣ Confront your limitations
‍ ‍‣ Grieve your losses
‍ ‍‣ Listen to your body

Ultimately, we hope that through your therapeutic experiences you come to
be more fully your self by learning to:

‍ ‍‣  Own your stories
‍ ‍‣  Feel your feelings
‍ ‍‣  Inhabit your body

In turn, we believe that these freedoms will allow you to
experience more closeness and connection with those you love.
